Realfood is an Indonesian healthy food & beverage brand dedicated to bringing healthy lifestyle into our lives. We delicately and carefully select our ingredients from many indigenous islands of Indonesia. Exploring new places, finding authentic ingredients, and introducing it to the market are our passion. We are rooted in the social values of our company in which we believe that business should bring positive impacts; be it for a person, a family, or even a community.
Realfood’s Story
A few years ago, I was enlightened and called to start something that matters. After some years of trying to find my calling at work, I was deeply inspired by the story of Toms Shoes as to how they make meaning through business by putting mission beyond profit to improve people’s lives. Personally, the idea of business and charity at the same time never seems to be possible for me. Having been enlightened with this new belief, I decided to follow this philosophy of how business should bring positive impacts on the lives of others.
In summer 2014, I got an opportunity to start a food company. I launched Realfood in the same year, declaring my vision of empowering young people through healthy lifestyle while making impacts in the lives of people in need through our social movement called “Generasi Matoh”, aka “The Awesome Generation”. It takes some time to finally convince and gather a group of young passionate people who share the same vision like me to make Realfood alive. We believe that Realfood is more than just a company because we are all called to make a difference and bring positive impacts through what we do.
