* Oversee day-to-day Finance, Accounting, and Tax operations.
* Perform daily, monthly, and yearly financial, accounting, and tax activities, and report to the Manager.
* Manage payment transactions, including receiving and classifying invoices, submitting payment requests, confirming receipts or proof of payments, transferring funds via bank or cash, and managing petty cash.
* Prepare, monitor, analyze, and evaluate accounting data, and produce financial reports such as journal entries, general ledger, and financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, and Statement of Cash Flows).
* Process, execute, and report tax payments.
* Design company budget estimates and monitor budget realization.
* Reconcile Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
* Monitor fixed assets and conduct periodic fixed asset checks.
* Prepare and support data requests for internal and external audit compliance.

Responsibilities
1. Legal Advisory
• Provide legal advice on oil and gas operations, including exploration, production, and distribution.
• Interpret and apply local, national, and international energy laws and regulations.
• Advise management on legal risks and compliance issues.
2. Contract Management
• Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including:
• Joint Operating Agreements (JOA)
• Production Sharing Contracts (PSC)
• Farm-in/Farm-out Agreements
• Service and supply contracts
• EPC contracts
• Ensure contracts are aligned with business objectives and regulatory standards.
3. Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure company activities comply with applicable laws, including environmental regulations, land acquisition laws, labor standards, and health & safety standards.
• Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on company operations.
4. Dispute Resolution & Litigation
• Handle pre-litigation and litigation matters related to land use, contracts, taxation, environmental issues, and labor disputes.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel when needed.
5. Corporate & Transactional Support
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and asset transfers in oil and gas.
• Assist in due diligence and transactional structuring.
6. Risk Management
• Identify and mitigate legal risks across operations.
• Develop legal strategies to safeguard company interests.
