PT Ebako Nusantara, a wholly Singaporean-owned and owner-managed company was established in 1996. From the very beginning, our managing director/founder, Mr. Lee has planned and structured the company to focus on high-end furniture manufacturing. The company have two business divisions - 1) Regular Export Division, mainly manufacture for some high-end buyers in USA, such as EJ Victor / Ralph Lauren, Christopher Guy, Somerset Bay, Lexington / Artistica, Frontgate, Currey and Co, etc. 2) Hospitality Division - manufacture and supply hospitality furniture to some five-star hotels in the world. Our regular hotel project costumers are Four Seasons / Regent hotel, St Regis hotel, Raffles Hotel, Banyan Tree Resort, etc.
Today, we have total 1000 employees, of which 880 are production workers and 120 are admin staffs. Our factory sits on a land area of 300000 sqf with a built-up area of 250000 sqf. And it houses the following facilities:
Lumberyard
With a total area of 45000 sqf, our lumberyard comprises of 5 x 60 CBM kiln-dry chambers and a 20000 sqf timber warehouse complete with a built-in heating system.
 Machinery Department
With a total area of 85000 sqf, complete with 95 different type of machines, including 1 x 5 axis CNC, 4 x 3 axis CNC, 1 x CNC running saw, 2 x CNC turning, Hot and Cold press, High Frequency Press and Taylor Clamps, etc.
The line up of these CNC machines enable us to produce customized products accurately and efficiently.
 Veneering Department
In an area of 5000 sqf, our veneering department is separated in an insulated room complete with Guillotine, Splicer, Laser Cut, Glue Spreader, Hot Press and Vacuum Press, etc.
We carry stock for 35 different type of veneer, and we are also able to source for any kind of veneer from Europe, USA and Asia that is specified by the designers.
 Finishing & Upholstery
In an area of 100000 sqf, complete with one push and pull finishing line, a dust free room, a color laboratory, a leather inlay and tooling section, a gilding section, a Upholstery section and a packing section.
Our color laboratory comprises of a color consultant and two Technicians. We are able to execute any finishing color specified by the designers.
 Carving Facility
Currently, we have 150 skilled carvers working exclusively with us on a piece rate basis. Our carvers can do all kind of carving from etching to three dimensional carving.
 Others
We are also capable in dealing with multiple material, such as weaving, cane, marble, stone, onyx, brass, iron, stainless steel, and metal finishing such as power coating, plating, etc.
 Research & Development
Our R&D Department comprises a designer, 5 auto-cad operators, 6 product engineers, 1 material analyst and 56 sample makers in the sample plant which is in a separate building with 25000 sqf.
We are able to interpret any kind of drawings as well as making shop drawings for hotel project. The sample plant is only main for making sample and mockup pieces for hotel, we are able to churn out sample or mockup pieces in a very short period of time.
This fully structured R&D department creates value for our customers as they enjoy strong support from conceptualizing to scale drawing to blueprint to making of sample.

 Quality Control
Our QA / QC department consist of one manager and 22 quality controllers. 14 of them station at the control gate of every department. 4 of them moving in the finishing line to check on every step in the finishing. 3 station at the light booth for final checking before packing and 1 check on the packing before loading. The QA/QC Manager is report directly to the managing director and every month we have a product quality review which is conducted by the MD. We take great pride in the quality of every piece of furniture leaving our factory.
 Production Capacity
Our present capacity is 50 x 40' container per month, standard lead time is between 75 days and 120 days depending on the type of product. We remain exceptionally flexible in accommodating to our customers' requirements. We accept small quantity orders in assortment of designs in a container.
