We are looking for a candidate who is :

  • Can work both as a strong leader and team member with positive attitude, responsible, fast responsive and has a skill to get the job done
  • Able to work in timely manner, under-pressure and passion for foods
  • Having strong technical background with strong technical & trouble shooting skills
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or higher with min. 3-5 years on formulation & process experience in foods from University or other company
  • The candidate has to be fluent in English working knowledge of Microsoft program, like Excell, Word, and Outlook
Tanggung Jawab


RDC Food Solutions SEA team is a Multi-Cultural Team, who responsible for project delivery in SEA Savoury (all categories/product plat forms). Technical design development (Formulation/Process/Packaging) is the core responsibility of the team. Different technologies and product types are in-scope.  Virtual working within the team and with international cross- functional teams is part of the daily work.

Assistant UFS R&D Manager SEA role will cover both formulation & processing with strong interactions to marketing and supply chain. Role includes multiple virtual work with cross-functional teams in SEA on-top of local (Indonesia) work. 

Candidates will be offered a local contract, based in Cikarang Indonesia, which is also as one of key site for Savoury SEA.


  • Delivering regional products by leading the Project as TPL, or Formulation Work Stream Leader, thru the formulations and processes of savoury (wet) products (i.e. acidified sauces, intermediate moisture foods) according the defined attributes and boundaries in the project brief.
  • Manage projects to ensure on time delivery and act as R&D representative/WSL within each project team to ensure project follow through the R&D project management tools.
  • Accountable for safety & quality parameters of the designed formulation and process.
  • Responsible for any technical content of Claims, Artwork, Regulatory requirement, Demo and Selling stories.
  • Design pilot & main plant trials. Realize scale up / industrialization with Engineering and Production departments.
  • Organize any testing related with formulation approval (consumer test/internal tasting) with related function
  • Deliver the R&D part for product launch by preparing all specifications related to raw materials, product and process to ensure that all documentation needed is available prior to start up.
  • Propose and implement cost saving projects. Participate in sourcing and approval of new materials without compromise on product quality.
  • Provide technical support and resolve operation issues with quality department to support quality improvement initiatives and customer complaints.
  • Network with regional & global R&D community to share best practices.
